Tata Altroz DCA in Pictures

Tata Motors launched the Altroz with a new DCA transmission. It’s a 6 speed unit with a host of new technologies and mated with 1.2 NA petrol engine.

A detailed review is online on youtube.com/Vandipranthan and lets the pictures talk ๐Ÿ™‚

Altroz is a good-looking hatchback and turns head for sure with this new Blue color.

16-inch wheels look nice and our test car came with Goodyear tyres.

90-degree opening doors are the signature of Tata Motors and the USP of Altroz

Wipers look cool and the defogger wents reflect a lot on the windscreen

Side profile with a large piano black bar and a few chrome inserts

Rear door handle placed on the C piller, this was a trend to make the car looks like a 3 door and now everyone knows it

The chunky DCA gear liver

Like other Tata Cars, this floating infotainment system looks cool and responds well. Special mention to the Harman Audio.

A good looking hatchback in every angle.

Wide opening doors make the entry and exit easy.

And the speakers on the doorpad

Vocal for local sticker and the spoiler extension, this is the new trend I guess.

And the DCA badge with a red insert, DCA is basically DCT and the word transmission Tata replaced with Automatic

An exterior shot in between ๐Ÿ™‚

Seats with good thigh support and bolstering, look at the arrow design.

Digital and analog meter console. I love the fuel gauge and its look like water in the tank.

Leather wrapped steering wheel with audio and cruise control switches

Audio controls on the left

Door lock button at the place of Engine modes

Altroz lettering on the facia

Auto AC with express cooling and soft touch buttons

And a parting shot.

In short, Altroz was a nice-looking hatchback already and an automatic was missed, Tata filled that gap with a DCT and the only concern was Tata chose the NA engine instead of Turbo for this transmission. DCA is smooth with this engine though and apt for city drives and occasional highway trips.
