Fulfilling the promise made earlier this year, Tata Motors, India’s leading automotive brand handed over the Harrier Kaziranga Edition – a premium SUV with the Land Rover DNA, to the Kaziranga National Park – the home to the world’s largest population of Indian one-horned rhinoceroses, on the occasion of World Earth Day. The handover ceremony was graced by (L-R) Mr. Soumen Paul – Regional Manager – Sales, Mr. Mohan Savarkar – Vice President, Product Line, and Mr. Rajan Amba – Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service, from Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited along with Mr. Amit Sahai IFS, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Mr. Jatindra Sharma IFS – Director, Kaziranga National Park and Mr. Ramesh Gogoi DFO, Kaziranga National Park in the presence of other senior officials from Kaziranga National Park and Tata Motors. Celebrating its leadership position in the SUV segment, the Company had launched the Untamed Kaziranga Edition of SUVs in February 2022, inspired by India’s rich geographical and biological diversity while also paying homage to one of India’s greatest national parks and a world heritage site – Kaziranga.
