For the 2023 model year, Maruti Suzuki has released an updated Ignis. The car costs Rs 5.82 lakh and has an engine that meets RDE rules (ex-showroom).

The 2023 Ignis has a 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder gasoline engine that now meets BS6 Phase-II standards. It makes 82 BHP and 113 Nm and comes with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT.

The base price of the Ignis has gone up by Rs 27,000, as you may have noticed. This is partly because the engine has been fixed up. Maruti has added more safety features to the Ignis as well. All versions of the car now come with Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and hill hold assist.
