Hyundai Motor India Foundation announces INR 3 crore relief efforts in response to the recent devastating Michaung Cyclone in Tamil Nadu

Additionally, Hyundai Motor India has put-in-place an emergency road assistance team to support cyclone affected customer vehicles

  • HMIF will provide relief kits such as dry rations, tarpaulin, bedsheets and mats. Medical camps will also be set up and HMIF will help clean villages in its efforts to address the after effects.
  • HMIL has assigned a Special Task Force to assist Hyundai Customers.
  • Free of Cost Road Side Assistance for Flood affected customer vehicles.

Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF), the CSR arm of Hyundai Motor India Ltd., today announced a relief support amounting to INR 3 crores to support communities affected by Michaung cyclone in Tamil Nadu. The Company’s onsite teams are working along with state government authorities to deliver emergency relief, including food, water, shelter, medical assistance and other essential commodities to affected communities.

Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF) had also extended support to Central & State governments during the COVID pandemic by setting up of oxygen plants, aiding ventilator production, conducting mask distributions, aiding children of COVID warriors with education & distribution of tablets and renovation of schools. HMIF continues to work for the betterment of society.
